Blue Dog Baseball, LLC DBA: Lake Erie Crushers is a Professional Minor League Baseball Team located in Northeast Ohio just west of Cleveland. We are a member of the Independent Professional Frontier Baseball League. Our team, the Lake Erie Crushers plays 96 games from mid-May through Labor Day; 48 at the Sprenger Health Care Stadium in Avon, Ohio along I-90 and the other 48 games on the road in Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. During the 4 month season we employ approximately 250 part time game day staff to fulfill positions in the food & beverage, promotions, parking, ticketing, front office, and stadium operations areas. Our year round staff consists of approximately 15 full time employees who continue operations from Labor Day through the following Spring to ensure Blue Dog Baseball is prepared for the next season. Our goal is to offer affordable fun family entertainment to the communities in Northeast Ohio.
